Pull up a rug in Brisbane’s biggest sub-tropical backyard, relax and listen to smooth, jazzy tunes at The Sound Society from 11am – 2pm on Sunday 6 February. To satiate your lunchtime cravings, The Garden Room Café is creating picnic hampers, specially curated for the event. Hampers are designed for two and include an assortment of home-made dips, cured deli meats and farmhouse cheeses.

It’s the most wonderful time of the year as Christmas in Brisbane comes to life. To help you get into the festive spirit, The City and South Bank has a range of free and festive events for you to bring the family together to enjoy.
Located in King George Square is The Lott City Hall Lights, a dazzling visual and sound display of ‘The Night Before Christmas’, narrated by Robin Bailey. The free shows occur every 15 minutes from 7:30pm to midnight daily from 10–24 December.

Every Friday and Saturday night of the Festival, buildings across Brisbane’s skyline will play host to an interconnecting and pulsing laser beam installation set to an ethereal soundtrack.

Created by Australia’s most renowned audio-visual artist, Robin Fox, this exquisite light installation will be visible for miles from hundreds of vantage points across Brisbane. View Sunsuper Night Sky from the street, on your evening walk or even by CityCat. Cast your eyes up, contemplate life and wonder at the beauty of our world.
