For millennia, people have looked to the night sky for solace, inspiration, meaning and guidance. Sunsuper Night Sky heralds the beginning of a new era, a time to come back together and make a connection.

Every Friday and Saturday night of the Festival, buildings across Brisbane’s skyline will play host to an interconnecting and pulsing laser beam installation set to an ethereal soundtrack.

Created by Australia’s most renowned audio-visual artist, Robin Fox, this exquisite light installation will be visible for miles from hundreds of vantage points across Brisbane. View Sunsuper Night Sky from the street, on your evening walk or even by CityCat. Cast your eyes up, contemplate life and wonder at the beauty of our world.

One Electric Day at Riverstage

As it heads into its seventh year, one of Melbourne’s favourite one-day festivals, One Electric Day, is going national.

In an exciting coup for music-lovers, the all-Aussie rock festival, which has sold out annually since its inception, will be also heading to Launceston, Sydney, Brisbane and the Barossa in November and December this year.

Headlined by the incomparable John Farnham with special guests James Reyne, Jon Stevens, Vanessa Amorosi, The Black Sorrows, and a special reformation by Southern Sons, these are shows that no music fan should miss.

A premier international event, Brisbane Festival is the biggest event of its kind in Queensland with over a million people coming together to join the festivities.

Surfers Paradise Kids Week


The DC Comics Justice League superheroes are flying into town to meet our everyday heroes for Surfers Paradise Kids Week as part of an action packed program suited for the whole family.

Presented by The Paradise Resort Gold Coast, Surfers Paradise Kids Week will play host to daily children’s shows and meet and greets with some of our favourite heroes and maybe even a villain or two.
The Gold Coast has many superheroes, but not all of them wear capes – meet local heroes such as law enforcement, surf lifesavers and other officers who save lives and help keep our community safe.

FREE feature shows will take place daily at 2pm and 4pm with our favourite heroes saving the day in their DC Super Heroes in Training show. In this exciting show, you will be led by three of the original Justice League members, Batman, Wonder Woman and The Flash and hosted by Metropolis crime beat reporter, Lois Lane.

Our Heroes in Training will leave better prepared to one day ‘Join the League’ and be their own Super Hero.

Get ready to party at our pace on the streets of Surfers Paradise, where the drivers are set to do battle in the second event of the PIRTEK Enduro Cup with three days of intense racing.

This year the entertainment line-up is packed like never before, with seven acts across two huge nights, on two new stages now located inside the race track.

The Club 600 Stage will host a DJ mix including internationally renowned British DJ Carl Cox headlining with global special guest, DJ Eric Powell on Friday. Saturday will feature Australian festival sensation Hot Dub Time Machine and Brisbane-based British hit maker Example.

The Hill Stage will showcase three of Australia’s best rock and alternative acts with KingswoodMental as Anything and The Vanns on Saturday.
