The DC Comics Justice League superheroes are flying into town to meet our everyday heroes for Surfers Paradise Kids Week as part of an action packed program suited for the whole family.

Presented by The Paradise Resort Gold Coast, Surfers Paradise Kids Week will play host to daily children’s shows and meet and greets with some of our favourite heroes and maybe even a villain or two.
The Gold Coast has many superheroes, but not all of them wear capes – meet local heroes such as law enforcement, surf lifesavers and other officers who save lives and help keep our community safe.

FREE feature shows will take place daily at 2pm and 4pm with our favourite heroes saving the day in their DC Super Heroes in Training show. In this exciting show, you will be led by three of the original Justice League members, Batman, Wonder Woman and The Flash and hosted by Metropolis crime beat reporter, Lois Lane.

Our Heroes in Training will leave better prepared to one day ‘Join the League’ and be their own Super Hero.

The Virgin Australia Supercars Championship returns for Round 13 at the Vodafone Gold Coast 600, 25-27 October 2019.

Get ready to party at our pace on the streets of Surfers Paradise, where the drivers are set to do battle in the second event of the PIRTEK Enduro Cup with three days of intense racing.

This year the entertainment line-up is packed like never before, with seven acts across two huge nights, on two new stages now located inside the race track.

The Club 600 Stage will host a DJ mix including internationally renowned British DJ Carl Cox headlining with global special guest, DJ Eric Powell on Friday. Saturday will feature Australian festival sensation Hot Dub Time Machine and Brisbane-based British hit maker Example.

The Hill Stage will showcase three of Australia’s best rock and alternative acts with Kingswood, Mental as Anything and The Vanns on Saturday.

EVERY WEDNESDAY FROM 7:30 PM

Every Wednesday night The Avenue’s Back Room is bringing you the biggest laughs in Surfers Paradise from 7:30 pm.

The Avenue will be hosting some of the best comedians in the country and from around the world every week – they might not all be names you’ve heard of, but we guarantee they’ll leave you in stitches.

From 12:00 pm – 3:00 pm each Friday, join them to feast on your choice of all the delights on the full Yamagen menu. Or, if you would like the yum to just come to you, the set Omakase menu brings an extra special touch and includes a glass of wine or Asahi Dry for $49 per person (min 2 people).

Locals and guests alike have the opportunity to dine on some of Yamagen’s amazing Japanese-inspired signature dishes such as Thinly Sliced Snapper and Teriyaki Chicken.

Yamagen is described as “blending old school Japanese culinary tradition with new invention”, so there’s really nothing not to love about this Friday lunch experience.
