My Care Park takes the hassle out of parking

Leading car park management company Care Park will take the stress out of searching for a car park with its new online pre-booking system called My Care Park being launched on March 13.

The easy-to-use system will be launched at the Festival car park, 53 Charlotte Street, in Brisbane’s CBD before being rolled out across Care Park’s extensive Australian network.

My Care Park will allow customers to search online and purchase a parking ticket in advance for a nominated period. Payments are made at the time of booking.

Care Park is at the forefront of technological solutions and the My Care Park online system, which will be accessed through the website, will enable customers to conveniently pay online before leaving home or the office.

Instead of issuing a physical ticket, once payment has been made online customers will be provided with a unique PIN. This number needs to be used to enter and exit the designated car park within the nominated period.  At each entry and exit point of the car park there is a digital pin pad that is used by the driver to enter the unique PIN. This will raise the boom gate, providing access or exit from the car park. Drivers can park in any of the available bays.

The PIN will not be active until 15 minutes before the start time of the reservation. If the exit time is exceeded the PIN will still let the vehicle out of the car park but there will be an additional charge to the nominated credit card. The additional charge is calculated as if the user had purchased an online ticket for the new time duration.

Care Park says the new system will provide customers with greater peace of mind as it will take the stress out of searching for a car park and guarantee a parking spot with no more lining up to pay.
It says the system will also enable customers to take advantage of more parking savings with exclusive discounts only available online. Special early bird rates will also be available online.
